Celtannia - The Longing Road (Celtic Ballad)

I set my feet on a path unknown,
where the mist runs cold through the valley stone.
The dawn was pale, the sky held gray,
and the wind led me where shadows stray.
Through haunted peaks and hills that weep,
I searched for what the past can keep.
A name, a voice, a vanished light,
that once had warmed my soul at night.
Beneath the ancient sky so wide, where dreams and memories collide.
I wander still, I do not know,
what waits beyond the drifting snow.
But something calls and will not die, along this road where spirits lie.
The rivers speak in tongues of stone,
of kings unthroned and queens unknown.
The forest sighs with every breath, of love once lost in silent death.
Beneath the ancient sky so wide, where dreams and memories collide.
